DAY 11

Who is afraid of the dark? The dark basement always created overwhelming angst within me. The dark haunted house left me on edge with my heart racing in anticipation. The dark hiking trail, as the sun quickly set, elevated my pace. The dark house during a power outage left me feeling isolated.

There is something about the dark that we all completely understand.

There is something about the dark that gets our attention.

There is something about the dark that we want to avoid.

That is why Jesus' words are life-giving and filled with strength. Why? Because we know that there is a darkness sneaking around within all of us. And that darkness, well we know where it leads.

Jesus' promise is fueled with hope. All you and I have to do ... is follow him!!

And his light will suffocate the darkness.
