Pruning. It's not enjoyable. It always creates a level of discomfort that we want to avoid. Whatever you do, don't back away from it. The pruning that the Heavenly Father does is fueled by His love for you and His desire to see you grow into the person He has designed you to be.
Let Him prune how you think - taking captive the thoughts that are destroying you.
Let Him prune how you forgive - choosing to forgive that person who has hurt you deeply.
Let Him prune how you give - living a life fueled by generosity leads to a life of faith stretching trust.
Let Him prune how you serve - searching for opportunities to extend Jesus' love.
Let Him prune how you encourage - seeking ways to breath life and hope into other people.
Let Him prune how you love - loving first is the vehicle to help other people lean into Jesus.
Specifically ask the Heavenly Father to do some pruning in your life. And then commit to not back away from it when it becomes uncomfortable. As He prunes, watch your life produce more fruit.
