DAY 4

The word picture transcends generations, languages, and cultures. No matter how advanced humanity becomes, we will always grasp what it means to be sick. Jesus had such a simple and powerful way to teach timeless truths that guides us to this day.

Jesus is actively engaged with you, not because you have it all together, but because you don't. He understands your fractured and broken soul. And that is a daunting reality that I know sits heavily within you. But know, he is the great physician. He is the only one that can bring healing to your sin-tattered soul.

Today, as you rest in gratitude for Jesus' amazing grace that breathes new life into you, remember: Jesus came for ALL people who are broken and fractured. Jesus desires to bring healing to all sinners. And that is why the church, a gathering of people, must continue to love like Jesus!
